This is a little study I did to experiment with some new mediums. It’s not as crisp as I imagined it, and as much as I love the iridescent paint, I am finding that it does not always translate well when photographed. My line work needs some development, but she was fun nonetheless.
This started as a little side note in my sketch book and I guess she just wanted to come to life. It’s got gold ink and iridescent paint highlights, but those don’t show up well in photos.

This is a quick little commission I finished last week. I am excited to be working with a woman in Moscow who will be using some of my mudras and this little guy to make prayer flags for sale in her etsy store. More information to come as they become available.
Sharing a little dragonfly painting I did for my friend’s birthday.
After my last hummingbird painting, my daughter asked that I paint one for her. Last summer she had a dream that she was surrounded by hummingbirds and we have been calling her the hummingbird princess ever since. So, this is a little gift for my girl.
